‘Organ donation kindles hopes’

Sri Ganganagar: Urmila Saharan, wife of Krishna Saharan, a resident of Maderan village, who passed away at the Paras Hospital in Gurugram after brain haemorrhage, helped people even after her death as her organs were donated. After her death on Sunday, the family of Krishna Saharan decided to donate her organs as she believed in social service.

Mahesh Pediwal, a family friend of the Saharan family said that the eyes of Urmila Saharan were transplanted to two different girls at Paras Hospital, Gurgaon. Besides, her kidneys were also donated to a 16-year-old girl from Faridabad and to a 39-year-old man. Hospital staff paid floral tribute to Urmila Saharan.
