Op Aravali in Dholpur: Police seize explosives & equipment

Dholpur: Major action was taken in Dholpur as part of Operation Aravali, led by SP Brajesh Upadhyay. Sarmathura police station in-charge Gaurav Kumar stated that the police had received information about illicit mining through blasting in the restricted forest region. On information, Assistant of sub-inspector (ASI) Ramveer Singh was sent to the spot with the police team.

Police have recovered a huge amount of explosives from the spot along with a tractor, hydra and truck along with a compressor being used in mining. The station in-charge said that the police have recovered 40 meters of red light, 10 gelatin rods and 10 detonators from the spot.Police are looking for the mining mafia, who fled the scene during the activity on Friday afternoon.
