On stamp paper, girl sold for Rs 9 Lakh

Bhilwara: A 17-yr-old girl has accused several people including two women of pushing her into prostitution. The girl was allegedly sold on stamp paper for Rs 9 lakh when she was 12 years old.

She gave a complaint to SP Bhilwara Adarsh Sidhu saying that the accused took her from her house when her age was 12 years and pushed her into prostitution. The girl filed the complaint against Mahendra Kanjar, Kamal Kanjar, Kalu Kanjar, Batniya Nat, Sudhesh Nat, Samma Nat and Priyanka Nat.

“We have demanded action against the culprits from both the state and the central governments, but nothing has happened so far. There was no positive cooperation from the police either,” Social worker Gyarsi Lal said.
