NIA detains man who was in touch with ‘beheading’ accused Ghouse

Udaipur: The NIA has detained a youth who was in contact with one of the main accused in Kanhaiya Lal murder case, Ghouse Mohammad. The youth identified as Muslim Mohammad works to supply biscuits and other items to small shops in the rural areas of Pratapgarh and he was in contact with Ghouse Mohammad for the last 9 years. The NIA team reached Parsola in Pratapgarh on Monday and served a notice to Muslim Mohammad. He appeared before the NIA on Tuesday after which the team took him into custody and left for Jaipur.

The name of Muslim Mohammad had appeared in the call details and statements of Ghouse recently. He often had conversations with Muslim Mohammad. The NIA team is probing Muslim Mohammad’s connections with several organisations by interrogating him.
