New CJ Shrivastava felicitated in Jodhpur

Jodhpur: A felicitation ceremony was organised by the Rajasthan High Court Lawyers Association in honour of the newly appointed Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court, Justice MM Shrivastava.

Several Judges of the Rajasthan High Court and senior advocates of the Jaipur and Jodhpur benches attended the event that was organised in Jodhpur. Addressing the program, Justice MM Shrivastava said that he is overwhelmed by this welcome and for this he expresses his gratitude to all the advocates. He said that he has been serving in Rajasthan High Court for the last two years.

Shrivastava said that there is a plethora of cases in Rajasthan and the state has a very limited number of judges and resources. When I go to various conferences many times and read articles, I feel that even today people have great expectations towards the judiciary, and we have to do everything possible in our power to deliver to them, he added.
