New born burnt with heater in Jaisalmer hosp

Jaisalmer: On January 25th, a newborn was burned due to a medical negligence error shortly after birth, caused by the excessive heat of the heater. When the child’s body turned red, the family sought medical attention.

Due to lack of oxygen, the medical personnel referred the infant to Jodhpur immediately. When the family arrived in Jodhpur, they learned that the infant had suffered burns. When the situation became public, it caused a sensation at Pokaran District Hospital. Family members called for action against the medical staff for not having proper warmer in pediatric ward.
