NEED TO WORK TOGETHER TO FACE GLOBAL CHALLENGES: SHEKHAWAT

Jodhpur: Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Friday said that the G20 meetings being held in Jodhpur will prove to be an important step towards making a better and developed world. He said that the problems, challenges, and opportunities of the developing countries of the world are similar.

“In such a situation, it is necessary that we all work together, so that global challenges can be faced,” he said in a press briefing held on Friday in connection with the G20 meeting. He said that the Employment Group meeting of G20 is being held in Jodhpur for three days.

He said that there are a total of 43 delegates in the G20 meetings. Representatives of 20 countries, representatives of nine guest countries and representatives of 14 organisations are participating in it. The last meeting of G20 will be held in Indore.

Shekhawat said that meaningful solutions to the complex and farreaching challenges facing the global labour market can be found only through cooperation and collaboration.
