NCPCR team in Bhilwara over auction of girls

Bhilwara: The chairman of National Commission for Protection of Child Rights Priyank Kanungo on Monday visited several villages of Bhilwara in the matter of allegations that girls are being pushed into prostitution.

During the visit to Itunda, several girls were found to be missing. Kanungo has also tweeted about this. He said that villagers have brought to notice that there are 27 such girls who have been sent and the investigation is going on. Kanungo was accompanied by the officers of district administration and police. He first sought details of girls from Anganwadi and then checked school and took information about girls from there.
