Nathdwara: CS discusses social security, Sarpanch Sangh concerns

Nathdwara: CS Sudhansh Pant visited Nathdwara in Rajsamand district on Friday. He witnessed the ‘Rajbhog Jhanki’ of Lord Shri Nathji. He and his wife were welcomed by the temple officer, and he received a guard of honor from police personnel at New Cottage.

Pant said that Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma’s government has increased social security pensions by Rs 150, benefiting around 75 lakh individuals, including widows, the elderly, and disabled persons. He acknowledged some delays in payments due to technical issues but assured timely disbursement efforts.

On the recent Rajasthan Sarpanch Sangh agitation, Pant stated that a committee of ministers and officials resolved many issues, although some, like MNREGA payments, remain pending.

He noted that e-KYC and Aadhaar linking have reduced fraud in the social security scheme, saving the government thousands of crores by identifying fake beneficiaries.

Pant reported a six percent increase in problem resolution on the ‘CM Sampark Portal’ over the past six months, with higher satisfaction rates and reduced resolution times for complainants.
