Muslim community stages protest against Ramdev’s remark

Barmer: Muslim community in Barmer have protested the controversial remark of Yoga guru Swami Ramdev over his controversial statement. Community members said that Ramdev had tried to disturb the communal harmony at the border. Community members have given a memorandum to the district collector in the name of CM.

Molana Sikander, Muslim community leader and also district coordinator of AIMIM, while talking to reporters here in Barmer said that they are condemning this statement. Sikander said that there is no space for such hostility in our country, especially in this border region where Hindu and Muslims have been showcasing the example of communal harmony for decades. He said that with such a controversial statement, Ramdev has just tried to disturb the peace and harmony in this bordering region.
