MP PP Choudhary raises demand for airport in Pali

New Delhi: The demand for an airport in Pali, western Rajasthan has once again got a new lease of life. Pali MP and former Union MoS PP Chaudhary strongly raised demand to develop Sojat airstrip of Pali district and connect it with air connectivity during Question Hour in Lok Sabha on Thursday. He drew attention of Union Civil Aviation Min Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu & said that efforts have been made earlier to develop Sojat airstrip as a mini airport.

MP Chaudhary said that the Udan scheme being implemented. Telling about the current growing economic scenario of Pali district in the House, MP Chaudhary said that Pali has got the status of division headquarters. Recently, Rajasthan has also got gift of Jodhpur-PaliMarwar Industrial Corridor, which is an important part of the 12 National Industrial Corridors of the country. For this, the PM Modi govt has approved Rs 9,320 crores.
