MP misses flight at Guwahati airport as ‘seat sold to someone’

Bharatpur: BJP MP Ranjeeta Koli was stopped at Guwahati Airport while she was there to board a flight to Delhi after attending some events there. Her luggage was already kept in the flight, but she was stopped from boarding the flight. The airport authorities told her that someone else had bought her seat at which Koli was quite miffed and lodged her protest with the authorities. Koli said she would also lodge a formal complaint as to who could her seat be given to someone else. The MP said she was to attend some important meeting in Delhi and was to board a Go First flight. Koli’s iPhone had also gone missing a few days ago and it was found packed in her luggage.

The MP and Lok Sabha secretary Deepak Kumar accompanying her created a ruckus for about an hour. When they introduced themselves to the airport authority, then authorities booked two seats in the Indigo flight.
