MODI IN PRATAP’S MEWAR TODAY, AIDED BY PRATAP’S DESCENDANT!
Udaipur: As the date of polling is nearing with each passing day in Rajasthan, Bharatiya Janata Party is becoming aggressive in its electoral campaigning and thus, party’s ‘trump card’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be reaching Udaipur on Thursday to address a massive rally.
Udaipur has had a rich history spanning over a millennia and political observers believe that in the current democratic form of governance too, the region - known as Mewar — is extremely significant if any party wants to create its own government in Rajasthan. For Mewar spans across 28 assembly constituencies and if these seats come under the grip of any party, its road to the ‘Vidhan Sabha’ becomes that much easy.
And perhaps keeping that in mind, the Prime Minister, an exceptional orator who has the ability to swing the voters’ mood in favour of BJP merely through his oration, would be addressing the people of Rajasthan, through Udaipur. According to political pandits, this time around BJP’s chances in Mewar region are believed to be better and with Maharana Pratap’s descendant to his side this time around — BJP candidate from Nathdwara Vishvaraj Singh Mewar — who has a pan-Mewar appeal and thus the party believes it will not be as tough for it, as last time. Now all eyes are on Modi and the ‘magic’ that he weaves to get the people rally behind BJP!
