MLA Bharat Singh expresses resentment against dist collector

Baran: Congress Sangod MLA Bharat Singh has written a letter to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’ Principal Secretary Kuldeep Ranka expressing resentment against Baran Collector Narendra Gupta. Singh termed the collector as a puppet saying that Gupta is not eligible to hold the post of the Collector. He mentioned the denial of permission for holding demonstration in Baran. He said that he had sought permission for the demonstration and had asked the collector to take the opinion of the local minister as well. The collector verbally told him that he has spoken to the minister and there is no issue regarding the permission. Despite this, he denied permission and he was informed about it at 8 pm on Sunday.

The programme was to support Haath Se Haath Jodo campaign. AICC in charge Sukhjinder S Randhawa & PCC Chief GS Dotasra also asked me to not hold the demonstration in party’s interest. —Bharat Singh, MLA Sangod
