MLA Bhakar challenges suspension, calls State government dictatorial

Deedwana: In the recently concluded dramatic budget session of the state assembly, Congress MLA Mukesh Bhakar from Ladnun was suspended for six months. Bhakar accused Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani of bias and succumbing to BJP pressure. Protests erupted, with Bhakar leading a Satyagraha at Deedwana’s Teja Circle alongside local officials. He criticized the state government as dictatorial, alleging it suppresses dissent and avoids accountability.

MLA Bhakar plans to challenge the suspension legally and demands government transparency. Bhakar termed the Bhajan Lal government of the state as dictatorial and said, “Congress MLAs are being prevented from raising questions on issues of public interest, while the ministers of the government are not giving answers while the Speaker is acting as the protector of the government by taking action in a dictatorial manner. That is why the speaker has suspended me without any concrete reason and cause.”
