MLA Awana justifies demands of Malis

Bharatpur. Nadbai MLA Joginder Singh Awana has extended support to the ongoing movement of Mali community over reservation demand in Bharatpur while justifying their demands.

Awana reached the agitation site on Wednesday and assured that he would always support the Mali community. He said that he will take a bullet on the chest if needed and will not show the back. He also gave a financial assistance to the family of Mohan Saini, who committed suicide by hanging himself near the protest site. The postmortem of the body could not be conducted so far. He said that some people will try to create a divide to dilute the agitation but the community members should remain united.

Convener Murari Lal Saini said that a delegation of the community will hold talks with the OBC Commission on May 1. On the other hand, the members of the community continued blocking the JaipurAgra National Highway in Bharatpur for the sixth consecutive day on Wednesday.
