Minor ends life after being blackmailed, raped in Hanumangarh; accused threatened to make video viral

Hanumangarh: A 17-year-old minor allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison in after she was blackmailed and raped, police said on Sunday. “The victim was blackmailed on the basis of her obscene videos. The accused is yet to be identified. Victim’s father has complained that the accused blackmailed the girl by threatening her to circulate obscene videos on social media, following which, she committed suicide by consuming poison on Sept 10,” police said. “The victim’s family members were in a shock from last month, due to which they did not file an FIR that time. Now, the matter is being probed,” police added.
