Minor dies after altercation over cricket match

Jhalawar: After a cricket match, one of the losing team’s friends killed a minor boy from the other side. The event occurred around 4 p.m. on Tuesday in Bhawani Mandi, Jhalawar district. After seeing the victory being celebrated, the accused Mukesh (24), became enraged and hit his a minor boy named Prakash (15), on the head with a cricket bat.

Prakash passed out immediately after being attacked. He was rushed to hospital and died during treatment. When people found out about Prakash’s death in the morning, they were outraged. A Mob reached the accused place and vandalized his vehicle demanding to bring him to justice.

The police have detained the accused boy and have started questioning him.
