Min Vishnoi distributes assistive devices to 440 divyangs
Barmer: A distribution program for assistive devices for persons with disabilities was held at the Adarsh Stadium in Barmer under the “Nawo Barmer” initiative.
The event was attended by State Minister K.K. Vishnoi, MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati, District Collector Tina Dabi, and various local leaders and disabled individuals. Minister Vishnoi inaugurated a dedicated portal providing information for the disabled. During the event, 130 tricycles, 60 wheelchairs, 50 canes, 100 hearing aids, and 100 crutches were distributed. Vishnoi emphasized that this initiative reflects the innovative spirit in Barmer, supported by special budget provisions from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, aiming to create a developed India and Rajasthan, and to benefit those in need.
