Min Chandna flags off 1st safari at Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve

Bundi: Tourism activities started in the Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve starting Friday. Sports Minister Ashok Chandna flagged off the safari vehicles on the 10-kilometre-long route from Dalelpura to Tiger Hill. From October, safaris will be conducted on two other routes. ACS of Forest Department Shikhar Agarwal, PCCF Hoff Munish Garg, CWW Arindam Tomar and DFO Sanjeev Sharma of the Tiger reserve played an important role in starting this.

Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve is developing very fast. The notification of this tiger reserve was issued on May 16 last year. After that a tigress was shifted here in two months. The Tiger T 115 that came here from Ranthambore on its own was already present. After this, on July 15 last year, Tigress T 102 was shifted here. Sources say that the tigress has also delivered cubs and an official confirmation will be done soon.
