Udaipur/Chittorgarh: The Mewar region celebrated a momentous occasion as it received its first Vande Bharat Express train, with BJP State chief CP Joshi expressing heartfelt gratitude to PM Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav.

PM Modi virtually flagged off train’s journey from Udaipur to Jaipur. Joshi embarked on the journey from Udaipur to Chittorgarh.

He said Vande Bharat stands as a testament to development of modern India. Joshi also interacted with passengers to understand their views and share information about the govt’s schemes and development initiatives.

The train’s arrival was met with a grand welcome at Mavli and Chittorgarh railway stations, where enthusiastic slogans of “Prime Minister Narendra Modi Zindabad” echoed through the air.
