Merit not recommendation works in USA: Guv Malik

Nagaur: Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik in his two-day visit to Deedwana attended the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Gramotthan Vidyapeeth Sansthan. Malik was welcomed and the Bhamashahs who supported the institute were honoured. The meritorious students were also felicitated. In his address, Malik said, “I became an MLA at the age of 26.” Referring to America, he said that in America, recommendation does not work. Talking about the farmers, Malik said that the farmers’ strike is over but the movement is not over yet. Deedwana MLA Chetan Dudi also addressed the Silver Jubilee celebrations.
