Media should stay away from communal news: Meghwal

Sri Ganganagar: The Sri Ganganagar Ratna Award ceremony was held at ARG Resort, Sri Ganganagar on Sunday in which Disaster Management Minister Govind Meghwal was the chief guest. MP Nihal Chand, MLA Jagdish Jangid and Rajkumar Gaur, Municipal Council Chairman Karuna Ashok Chandak, social worker Prem Sahu, Krishna Saharan and other dignitaries were present as the special guests.

During the event, many people were honoured for better work. Praising CMD First India News Dr Jagdeesh Chandra, Minister Govind Meghwal said that wherever he goes, the channel becomes number one. “First India News shows accurate news. Media should stay away from communal news,” he said. The minister described Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s Inflation Relief Camp as a relief to the common people.

MP Nihal Chand said that First India News has made its mark and should keep doing such programmes.
MLA Jagdish Chandra Jangid and Rajkumar Gaur said that the commendable initiative of First India News is to be highly praised. SI Sanjeev Chauhan, CI Kuldeep Charan, CI Devendra Singh, CI Alok Singh, SI Chandrabhan Singh and Constable Mangat Singh were honoured in the event. Editor Jinendra S Shekhawat, Divisional In-charge Laxman Raghav and District Correspondent Sunil Sihag were present in the event.
