Massive cache of illegal explosive material used in fireworks seized

Hindaun City: Taking action against illegal explosives ahead of Diwali, a police team unearthed storage of illegal explosive materials worth Rs 23.62 lakh.

The action was taken by Nayi Mandi police station in Mahu Ibrahimpur town. This cache included a whopping 3457 kg of material to be used in fireworks manufacturing. The owner of the illegal warehouse, Narendra Sharma, was apprehended.

This operation was led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Pramendra Mahala along with the help of Nayi Mandi police station incharge Vijendra Singh.

In another related action, the police confiscated 3100 kg of illegal firecrackers worth Rs 25 lakh in Mahu town in Hindaun city.
