Martyred soldier to be cremated in Udaipur today

Udaipur: Martyred soldier, Major Mustafa Bohara, who lost his life in the Indian Army helicopter crash in Arunachal Pradesh district’s Upper Siang on Friday, will be cremated with full military honours in Udaipur on Sunday morning.

The 27-year-old major was among the five soldiers who were killed in the helicopter crash.

Major Mustafa Bohara, who hails from Kheroda village of Udaipur district, had recently got engaged and was about to get married in a few months. His mortal remains will reach Dabok Airport on Sunday, following which, cremation will take place.

Meanwhile, senior BJP leader Gulab Chand Kataria paid a visit to family on Saturday and consoled them. Officials of district administration have also made arrangements regarding his cremation.

Since Friday afternoon, relatives of the army officer have been coming to his residence.
