Martyr Shekhawat’s statue unveiled

Alwar: The statue unveiling program of Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, who was martyred during the war exercise on 27 September 2017 in Barmer, was held on Monday at Narayanpur in Alwar. Program was chaired by RTDC Chairman Dharmendra Singh Rathore and Labour Minister Tikaram Jully while the presided over by Industries and Devasthan dept Minister Shakuntala Rawat.

Prior to the event, guests presented during the event unveiled the martyr’s statue. Hundreds of youth also carried out a tri-colour rally along with patriotic songs from the main market on about 200 motorcycles. Locals have showered flowers at many places on the rally.

“We are proud of Shaheed Bhanwar Singh who sacrificed his life while serving the country,” said Minister Jully. Cabinet Min Rawat announced to name the govt school on Shaheed’s name. RTDC Chairman Rathore also addressed the program and shared the government’s achievements with the people.
