MANY MISS EXAM, 1 HELD IN JODHPUR

Jodhpur : Jodhpur Police on Sunday arrested a dummy candidate for impersonating an actual candidate during REET. Police informed the accused has been identified as Jayram Maanju (20), a resident of Jalore. “The accused was arrested from Shivaram Nathuram Tak Government Senior Secondary School in Jodhpur. On suspicion, when officials checked his ID card, his photo did not match with the actual candidate. Jayram Maanju was appearing on behalf of Mahipal,” police added.

A case has been filed and the matter is being investigated. However, REET was completed peacefully on Sunday. Chief Coordinator of REET, Lakshmi Narayan and Coordinator Meghna Choudhary issued a joint statement. In a mishap, a married woman who had come to appear in REET exam in Tonk was killed while her husband and son were injured.
