Man’s nose chopped off for declining daughter’s marriage

Barmer: Some accused chopped off the nose of a man in Barmer district after he declined the marriage of his daughter. The accused also took away the chopped nose. The brutal incident has been reported from the Sheo police station area in Barmer. On Wednesday early morning, some accused attacked Kamal Singh Bhati, a resident of Jhafanli village under Sheo police station area. The police reached took the victim to the hospital.

Bhati’s family members said that he had fixed his daughter’s engagement at Suwala village but he declined to marry her as his niece was also married in that village but killed by in-laws over the dowry demand. This led to the tension between two families.
