Man kills wife with axe after argument in Pratapgarh village

Pratapgarh: A young man killed his own wife with an axe after a minor quarrel on Sunday morning in the Barkhedi village of Kotwali area. Thereafter the accused husband fled from the spot. The police have handed over the body to the relatives after conducting a post-mortem. A case is being registered and a search is on for the accused husband. Kotwali police station officer Ravindra Singh said that Shyamlal Meena, a resident of Barkhedi, was living with his family in a house on his farm at about 2 km away from the village. He also has three children.
