Bharatpur: A large number of people from Mali community blocked Jaipur-Agra national highway in Bharatpur demanding 12 percent separate reservation.

The community members have been demanding separate reservation. They had announced to block Jaipur-Bharatpur National Highway-21 today for the demand of reservation in government jobs and educational institutions.

In view of the agitation, the police blocked the roads of Ballabhgarh, Halaina, Vair, Aronda, Ramaspur villages connected to the highway since morning.

SP Shyam Singh said that the agitators pelted stones at police following which mild force was used to disperse them.
Nadbai MLA Joginder Singh Awana, one of the six BSP turned Congress legislators, demanded action against the officials for using force against the agitators and said that the govt should resolve the issue.
