Makrana: Airman’s suicide amid rape allegation; family accuses cops & others

Makrana: An airman stationed in Hyderabad committed suicide on February 20 following the filing of a rape allegation. He was from Diwana, Kuchaman district. His friend’s wife filed a rape allegation against him at Parbatsar police station the day before.

On February 22, the accused airman’s father, Asharam Jat, filed a report at the Gachhipura police station against two men and one woman, accusing them of instigating suicide as well as blackmailing regarding religious conversion and rape cases.

Gadchipura cops have also been accused of misbehaving with the family members.

The family is also requesting the suspension of the accused police officer in the matter.
