MAHESH SHARMA MEETS PRIEST’S FAMILY, PROMISES THEM SECURITY & RELIEF

Udaipur: Rajasthan State Vipra Welfare Board president Mahesh Sharma reached Udaipur on Saturday to meet Rajsamand temple land dispute victim priest Navratna Lal Prajapat. Prajapat, however, died in the hospital before Sharma could meet him. Sharma met the family members of the priest and assured them of all possible help and justice from the government. During the meeting, the relatives of the priest submitted a memorandum to Sharma.

They demanded a CID probe, financial assistance to the relatives, security arrangements for the family and a job for a family member. Sharma ordered the District Magistrate, Rajsamand and Superintendent of Police, Rajsamand to get a CID probe done and provide adequate security and compensation to the family of the deceased. Besides, Sharma inquired about the well-being of Prajapat’s wife Jamna Devi admitted in the burn unit of Maharana Bhupal Government Hospital, Udaipur.
