Maharawal Mahipal Singh of Dungarpur royal family no more

Dungarpur: The member of the erstwhile royal family Maharawal Mahipal Singh passed away last night. Singh was admitted to Baroda Hospital in Gujarat due to poor health He was 92.

Singh breathed last in Udai Bilas Palace. He was the father of former Rajya Sabha MP Harshawardhan Singh. After the demise of Mahipal Singh, the ‘Rajtilak’ ceremony was held and Harshwardhan Singh became ‘Maharawal’, in the presence of the family members, relatives, and members of the community.
