Madrasas girl students to benefit

Barmer: More than 86,000 girl students studying in Madrasas in the state will now get benefit of ‘Mukhyamantri Rajshree Yojana’. On Monday the state govt issued the order & directed secretary at Rajasthan Madrasa Board to provide details of girl students so that benefits of the scheme could be released. Though scheme was launched 7 years back but the government had ignored girls. Minority Affairs minister Shale Mohammad made efforts and now girls are included. Gaurav Agarwal, director at secondary education department issued order to provide details of girl students so benefits of scheme could be released.

Mukhyamantri Rajshree Yojana
Under this scheme the govt is providing financial assistance to the girl child for their health & education. Govt provides a financial assistance of up to Rs 50,000 for her educational up to class XII.

Detailed break-up
1st instalment of Rs 2,500 on birth of girl child, 2nd of Rs 2,500 after first year vax, 3rd of Rs 4,000 upon admission to class first, 4th of Rs 5,000 upon admission in class 6, 5th of Rs 11,000 upon admission in class XII & 6th instalment of Rs 25,000 after passing class XII.
