‘Lovelorn’ man stabs 20-yr-old woman to death, hangs self

Jhunjhunu: In Jhunjhunu, a young man murdered his girlfriend by stabbing her multiple times with a knife and then ended his own life. The incident took place in the Hasalsar village under the Guhagaudji police station area. Late on Friday, Priyanka, 20, was sleeping with her family at home when the accused murder her. Following this gruesome act, he went to his maternal uncle’s house and hung himself from a noose. The man was identified as Suresh (32).

Priyanka’s post-mortem was conducted. Many villagers, including former legislator Shubhkaran Chaudhary, were present during the investigation.

The young man was married three years ago, but his wife left him a year after their marriage. Priyanka was unmarried and was preparing for B.Ed. Suresh was involved in the liquor business. The CO said Navin, who was with Suresh when he killed Khushbu, has been detained.
