Longest & heaviest python rescued in Sariska

Alwar: In a remarkable rescue operation, the longest and heaviest python to date was rescued in Baldevgarh village, located in the Tehla range of Sariska Tiger Reserve.

Local villagers alerted the forest department after spotting the massive snake. When the team, including forest officials Saurabh, Chhotelal Sharma, Shiv Sahay, and Hem Singh Gurjar, arrived, they were astonished by its size, measuring over 18 feet and weighing more than 80 kilograms.

With the help of villagers, the team meticulously managed to subdue the python, which attempted to constrict team members during the process. After successfully capturing the serpant, it was transported to Sariska and released back into its natural habitat, overcoming significant challenges along the way.
