LAWYER SUICIDE: FAMILY MEMBERS CONTINUE STIR

Sikar: Family members of advocate Hansraj, who died after he set himself on fire inside sub-divisional magistrate’s office, and advocates continued their protest in Sikar on the third consecutive day on Saturday. The family has refused to conduct funeral and the deadlock over the demands is continuing.

MP Swami Sumedhanand, RLP MLA Narayan Beniwal went to the dharna site and spoke to the family members.

Hansraj’s brother Ranjeet said that the administration was pressuring to cremate the body but the cremation will be done only after the demands are met. He said that if the pressure continued, the funeral would be conducted in the SDM court.

Calling the suicide as a sacrifice for justice by Hansraj, MP Sumedhanand said that it was surprising that the administration has not taken any step to end the deadlock even after three days.

He said that the sacrifice of Hansraj will not go in vain. The MP said that the dharna will continue till justice is given to the deceased advocate.

MLA Narayan Beniwal said that it was an example of the corrupt system troubling people.
