Kovind delights in cultural performances at Jodh School

Jodhpur: Former President Ram Nath Kovind, accompanied by his family, attended the 12th Annual Day and cultural programme at Mayur Chopasni School in Jodhpur as the chief guest. The event was chaired by former Maharaja Gaj Singh, with former Punjab Governor VP Singh and former Maharani Hemlata Raje also in attendance.

Kovind and his family were deeply impressed by the vibrant cultural performances presented by the students, including dance, music, drama, and a performance by an orchestra and bagpiper band, showcasing Rajasthani culture. The students also staged a play titled “Bahut Der Na Ho Jaye,” which highlighted the importance of balancing screen time with physical and mental development. Kovind praised the students’ efforts and expressed his gratitude for the invitation. Kovind also visited the Rajasthan Judicial Academy in Jodhpur.
