Kota: Police use water cannons on protesting Congress leaders

Kota: Congress workers in Kota on Sunday protested against price rise, inflation and levying of GST on food products. The protest march, called by Hadauti Vikas Morcha, started from Maharana Pratap Circle and later jammed National Highway 27-52. Later, police had to use water cannons to disperse the agitating crowd.

Rajendra Sankhla of Hadoti Vikas Morcha said that the way inflation has increased across the country, it has become difficult for the common man to live. “People have been further troubled by imposing GST on food items like flour and milk,” Shankhla said.
