Kota: With the change of power in Rajasthan, the Kota Airport file will also gain momentum. LS Speaker Om Birla instructed Chief Secretary Usha Sharma for depositing the amount of diversion of forest land identified for Greenfield Airport. After the instructions, the Chief Secretary asked the Kota Collector to deposit the amount soon.

Rs 127 crore had to be deposited to register the identified land in the name of AAI. But the then Congress govt deposited only Rs 21 crore & had refused to deposit the remaining amount.
