Kirodi Meena protests at police station

Pratapgarh: Rajya Sabha MP Kirodi Lal Meena reached Dhariyawad on Sunday where a tribal pregnant woman was paraded naked and beaten up by her husband and others in Pahada village. He called it a bigger incident than the one in Manipur. He reached police station and said that CM Ashok Gehlot had announced to give Rs 10 lakh and a job to victim, but victim is being discriminated here.

He said that in Thanagaji, the victim was announced Rs 25 lakh, a house in Jaipur and a government job, but in Dhariyawad, only Rs 10 lakh as financial assistance and a contract job has been announced. He warned the police-administration to fulfill the demands by Sunday evening.

On the instructions of Pratapgarh SP Amit Kumar, an additional police force was deployed outside police station. Meena reached spot, where his supporters raised slogans against the deteriorating law and order situation.
