Joint operation results in arrest of 3 suspects near India-Pakistan border
Anupgarh: During a routine checkpoint operation near the village of Binjor (Anoopgarh) along the India-Pak border on Tuesday night, BSF and police apprehended three youths suspected of sending their own location to Pak. According to SP Ramesh Maurya, they received information that a large quantity of heroin could be smuggled into India from Pakistan. Following this tip-off, BSF and police became active, initiating a joint operation along the international border between India & Pak.
Subsequently, Sushil Kumar (23), son of Sanjay Kumar from Baruwala, Sukhwinder Singh (27), son of Kashmir Singh, and Robin Singh (22), son of Balkar Singh from Mahatma Nagar, Fazilka, Punjab, were arrested in the Sameja Koti (Raisinghnagar) police jurisdiction area.
