Jodhpur is a symbol of culture, status & harmony: Sunil Arora

Jodhpur: The inauguration ceremony of the reconstructed hall of Jodhpur Industries Association was organized on Saturday in which former Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora attended as the chief guest and inaugurated the hall. In 1993, while serving as the District Collector of Jodhpur, Sunil Arora had laid the foundation stone of this building. During the program, the new executive was also administered oath of office and secrecy.

Along with this, an MoU was also signed between MBM University of Jodhpur & the Association. The Association’s annual report was also presented during the programme.

Former Association President Jitendra Maheshwari & other office bearers remembered the contribution made by Sunil Arora. Due to various types of exports, the industry of Jodhpur has always been on the world stage. Apart from small and marginal industries, Jodhpur has been famous for different types of industries. Sunil Arora, while addressing at the inaugural ceremony of the reconstructed hall, said that he shares a deep relationship with Jodhpur since the time of posting and has had contact with all senior entrepreneurs. During this, he also gave a message to take forward the women entrepreneurs.

Referring to the history of Western Rajasthan Industry Handicraft Festival, which started for first time, he said, “The festival has become Jodhpur’s identity for which he had made extensive plans with entrepreneurs, who thronged to his home for the same. With everyone’s cooperation, the initiative taken at that time, is still working to help all types of entrepreneurs of the entire division to grow.”
