Jodhpur handicraft bizman loot: 3 domestic helpers held

Jodhpur: Three domestic helpers have been arrested by Jodhpur police for allegedly looting a handicraft businessman on November 5. Police informed the accused, identified as Dhan Bahadur, Lakshmi and Manzil, were arrested from Delhi, while two of the accused had been arrested earlier. “On November 5, the accused mixed sedatives in the food and gave it to businessman Ashok Chopra for dinner. After the victim became unconscious, three more miscreants entered the house and decamped with jewellery, a digital locker, and other valuable items. The seven accused loaded the valuables into the victim’s car and fled away from the spot at around 1am,” said Jodhpur Commissioner Ravi Dutt Gaur. “Accused Manju and Amar Singh had already been arrested, while three others were arrested on Thursday,” added Commissioner Ravi Dutt Gaur.
