JMCH senior assistant in ACB net with Rs 25K

Jaipur: The ACB on Tuesday arrested a senior assistant of Jaipur Municipal Corporation Heritage while taking a bribe of Rs 25,000. Police informed that senior assistant Meghraj Chawriya was demanding a bribe to forward the file of the pension of the complainant’s mother.

“The complainant’s mother retired in 2018 from the JMC and died in 2021. Chawriya was demanding bribe to forward the file of retirement benefits,” said ACB ADG Dinesh MN. A trap was laid on Tuesday and the accused was caught.
