Jewellery worth Rs 2 cr looted on gun point in BKN; accused held

Bikaner: Armed miscreants looted a bag filled with jewellery worth Rs 2 crores in Bikaner on Wednesday. Police informed as soon as the victim sat in his car with the jewellery bag, unidentified miscreants stopped his car and pointed a gun toward him. “The accused damaged the victim’s car and took away the jewellery bag at a gunpoint. The bag was filled with jewellery worth Rs. 2 crores,” informed Bikaner SP Yogesh Yadav. “After the incident, barricading was done and miscreants were nabbed in a police chase of 50 km. The accused fired two rounds of gunshots on policemen, but they were arrested by the police. The jewellery bag was also recovered,” added SP Yadav.
