Jain monks to be treated as state guests in Raj, announces CM in Delhi
New Delhi: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has announced that Jain monks will be treated as state guests in Rajasthan.
“I have declared Jain monks as state guests; you will be guests on behalf of the state,” he said at a programme in Delhi.
Sharma attended a programme at Oswal Samaj Bhawan on the 15th ‘Mahaprayan Diwas’ of Acharya Mahapragya in the presence of Sadhvi Anima Thana and Sangeet Thana. Praising the CM, Sadhvi Anima Thana said it was significant that he attended the programme.
“Sadhana and guru’s grace lead you forward,” she said.
In his address, the CM said the Terapanth community is involved in serving the country and religion, having a deep connection with Rajasthan. He mentioned that Acharya Mahapragya was born and passed away in Rajasthan.
“You may be small in numbers, but you have a significant contribution to nation-building. You never asked for anything from governments; you gave to the country. My party and I will stand with you,” the CM said.
During the meeting at BJP office, CM urged victory in all 7 Delhi Lok Sabha seats & gave the mantra of success to party workers. BJP candidate from East Delhi Harsh Malhotra and others were also present.
