Irked coaching owners demand changes in guidelines

Kota: Owners of coaching institutes and hostels in Kota have strongly opposed the ‘Guidelines for Regulation of Coaching Centre 2024’ released by Ministry of Education. They have demanded changes in many points after a meeting at Purusharth Bhawan. The local district administration is on alert to avoid any untoward incident.

There is strong opposition against raising the minimum age for coaching admission to 16 years as owners fear a decline in the number of coaching students. However, the district administration has made it clear that rules will be implemented. The guidelines also state that detailed prospectus with reasonable fees for various courses must be given.
