INDRA MEGHWAL’S FAMILY GETS Rs 20-L CHEQUE FROM RAJ CONG

Jalore: Congress leader and chairman of public grievances redressal committee Pukhraj Parashar handed over a cheque of Rs 20 lakh to the family of a nine-year-old Dalit boy Indra Meghwal, who died after being beaten up by his teacher, on behalf of the Congress party. PCC chief Govind Singh Dotasra had announced Rs 20 lakh by the PCC for the family of the victim boy during his recent visit to Jalore’s Surana village to condole the death of the boy. Meanwhile, the family members of a child studying with Indra Meghwal complained of getting threats and sought police protection. On July 20, there was a fight between Indra and Rajesh over painting. Rajesh had given a statement to the police and media. Later, Rajesh’s father was threatened by three youths on a bike.
