Inaction over sale of beef: 4 cops suspended

Khairthal-Tijara: Four policemen were suspended and 38 other personnel at a police station in Khairthal-Tijara district shifted to the police lines for not taking action against people allegedly selling meat suspected to be beef, officials said on Monday. This came after some people were caught while allegedly selling suspected beef in the open in a deserted place here. On info of cow slaughter and selling of beef in the open, several police teams conducted raids in area & caught some suspects. Jaipur IG Range Umesh Dutta said various teams were formed for combing operations in 4 districts in range.
